Want To Be A Professional Golfer? Can You Shoot 69 Under Pressure?

This time of the year, I counsel a lot of golfers who are playing on a variety of tours and mini-tours.  They come to see me to master the mental part of the game.  We work on confidence, focus, relaxation, resiliency and remaining optimistic.

We also spend time on course management and course strategy.

Over the years, I have determined that a score of  69 is usually good enough to win many events.  If someone shoots a really low number like at 62, there is not much you can do.  However, I believe that you must be mentally and physically tough enough to shoot 69 in competition periodically in order to win these tour events and be  successful playing pro.

Sometimes a few mental tips will take your game to that next level.
