Sports Psychology: Staying Focused

Train your mind to focus on just one thing.  Gradually increase the amount of time you spend concentrating on one object, word, idea, image, thought or feeling.  In time, you will learn how to eliminated distractions and zero in on what is important, significant and meaningful.  This is a very important skill for athletes.  Instructions for mastering this skill are described in detail in Chapter 5 of our Stay In The Zone Program.
