Roger Federer’s Display Of Emotion At The Australian Open: Will It Help Him Or Hurt Him

I have written about Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal in my newspapers columns and in my blog several times.

I am also the author of a book on tennis psychology called zone tennis.

Nadal is physically stronger, faster and mentally tougher than is Federer right now.

I believe, however, that Federer’s display of his feeling will free him up to play with more relaxation, confidence and focus.  He may not be able to beat Nadal on a regular basis, but he will win sixteen or seventeen majors before his career is over.

Again, the display of his feelings will free him up in the future and we will still see some more remarkable tennis from this incredible player.
