No matter what you think of Donald Trump's politics and his personality, I believe this man knows more than a little bit about leadership, psychology and management.
Here is why.....
Two years ago, I was asked to give a lecture on sports psychology and tennis at Trump's lovely golf and tennis facility in Bedminster, New Jersey. As expected, the place is beautiful and the food was outstanding.
However, I was most impressed with the way the staff treated me. Everyone was lovely. The staff wanted to be certain that I had everything I needed for my presentation to go well.
People were very cordial and they really made me feel like a "special guest."
I suspect this is a function of good recruiting and good training.
I have lectured at many top golf facilities as well as universities and Fortune 500 Companies. I have to say this was one of the best experiences I have had on the lecture circuit.
"The Donald" must be doing somethings very right.
