Isle of Palms, SC-Dr. Jay Granat and Charly Rasheed are pleased to announce a unique, and enjoyable seminar for tennis players who want to perform their best on the tennis courts and off the courts in their daily lives held at Wild Dunes Resort.
This one day seminar is the first in a series of new seminars to be held at the luxurious resort in South Carolina.
Participants in this event will spend three hours in a classroom setting and the remaining three hours on the tennis courts.
People who attend will gain a better understanding of mind-body tennis. Players will learn how to get in the zone and stay there. They will understand how to conquer the emotional and psychological barriers from entering the zone. And they will see how they can best manage stress when they play and when they work.
Players will also see how they can use brain alignment to play to their potential. They will discover how to manage emotions on the court and how best to play singles and doubles at a high level. Strategy, communication, staying focused and being confident and resilient will be addressed by the seminar leaders.
The seminar will be led by Charly Rasheed and Dr. Jay P. Granat.
Charly is the Director Of Tennis at Wild Dunes Resort. He is an accomplished player, outstanding teacher and author of the book Brain Alignment: The Art Of Focus In Tennis. Mr. Rasheed is a great diagnostician and an enthusiastic teacher with certifications in both Adult and Junior Development by the PTR. He has played and continues to play tennis at a very high level and he can impart his wisdom about the game in a clear and simple way. In 2004, Mr. Rasheed was named USTA SC Pro of the Year and in 2011 he was named USTA SC Adult Male Player of the Year.
