Sports Psychology: Athlete Of The Week, Day Month

I thought it would be interesting to add to the blog some stories, anecdotes and tales about athletes I have worked with over the years.

Recently, I got  a call from a coach who was concerened about a pole vaulter who has lost his confidence, since shattering his pole and taking a nasty fall.

I treated this like a trauma that the athlete needed help in recovering from.

Apparently, this pole vaulter had been one of the best vaulters in his state prior to this mishap.
